I remember being buttonholed by some random guy back when we were first being warned about Clarence Thomas. "You been watching her testimony?" He asked. Me: "Nope. I don't have a TV" Him: "(deep breath) Well, I think she's lying." I didn't know what to think then, but I do now. I think she was telling the truth. I think we should have listened to her.
