They highlight the strange phenomena reported by first responders: the inexplicable cold, the shattered mirrors, and the eerie chant that seemed to linger even after the tape stopped playing. Could the Order of the Solar Temple have tapped into something beyond human comprehension? Or were these occurrences merely coincidences distorted by the lens of a horrifying tragedy?

Investigators were baffled by the cult’s obsession with November 22nd, a date which appeared in their writings as a day of "cosmic alignment" and spiritual liberation.

A tape recorder continued to play a chant in an unknown language, and mirrors around the room were shattered as though from within. Witnesses later described the scene as feeling "unnaturally cold," despite the building’s heating being intact.

Founded in the late 1980s by Luc Jouret and Joseph Di Mambro, the Order of the Solar Temple combined esoteric Christianity, apocalyptic prophecy, and occult practices. Its members believed they were spiritually enlightened beings destined to ascend to a higher realm. However, an eerie and grim event that occurred on November 22, 1994, left the world shocked and searching for answers.
