-If You do not like my opinions then you have the choice of unfollowing me or scrolling on however I will NOT change my opinions simply to appease you.
-I try my best to always stay positive and bring a positive energy however I am human and if provoked will stand up for myself sometimes in not such not "polite" ways if it requires it.
-If I request that a discussion be ended that means I have pronounced my boundary(which is perfectly alright) and means I choose to move on.
@Darkenyght1701 Same here. โค๏ธ
@Darkenyght1701 I got it from my Hungarian grandfather. He was blunt to point. People would either love him to pieces , be intimidated by him or hate him for his bluntness lol.
@TheNewsOwl I'm Scot/Irish.
So not only am I stubborn enough to rub your face in the fact you're wrong, I'll have a bloody good time doing it ๐.
When I went to DC to work, my boss said one of the reasons he wanted me was the fact I had the rep of not taking bs off of anyone ๐
@Darkenyght1701 ๐ โค๏ธ
Youโre lucky. That kind of approach always put me on the bossโs shit list.
@MarshScarecrow @TheNewsOwl it wasn't the only reason my boss wanted me to come into his office.
My educational background was seen as an asset, as well as having served overseas before taking the position.
But having the rep of being a " fire breather" was seen as a plus. ๐๐
@Darkenyght1701 it is good in certain positions if you want someone to whip others into gear etc. lol to simply get things organized and done. not so good if you simply want followers. @MarshScarecrow
@TheNewsOwl @MarshScarecrow I watched the staff I was going to have under me for a week, then had a meeting.
I said " you give me ๐ฏ% of what I ask of you in a timely manner, and need be I'll go to the wall for you. Less than that,or try to undercut me, and I'll find you the worst duty assignment there is".
In 8 years, they never let me down.
My deal is this: I will never ask anyone to do anything that I am not demonstrably willing to do myself. I provide over-praise and constructive feedback every time.
But donโt piss on my leg and tell me itโs raining. Ever.

@TheNewsOwl
I will never unfollow you my friend!
Thank you. After years of battle scars and an actual death threat on #twitter, my boundaries are clearly set as well. I enjoy a discussion of varying opinions. But when it turns nasty itโs over.
On my terms.
@LnzyHou it is something I truly hate to be pulled into. As I mentioned I am human and I am very passionate about my values and convictions. If someone pushes me I very well will stand my ground and sometimes it ends up not being pretty which I do not like going to that space so I warn people in advance of my boundaries now. I love my space filled with positivity and people who can respect my boundaries.
As do I. Frequently itโs the #newbies who come in with their hair on fire ๐ฅ from TW. They try to start battles because thatโs what they know. It takes a while to learn we donโt attack each other in this village.
There are consequences. Sometimes they are permanent.
@LnzyHou Exactly.
@TheNewsOwl Heh
My mum used to say I needed a 30 second censor between my brain and my mouth to consider what I was about to say.
My answer was always if people don't want an completely honest answer, they shouldn't have asked me the question in the first place. ๐
I don't sugar-coat anything. I say what I'm thinking.
