@mcfate I first heard about this convoy coming, I believe it was 4 days ago. It almost felt like a trap. Like they were going to get Ukraine to send out people, planes and such, and kill them. Yet here we are, 4 days later and theyβre all doing nothing. They shouldβve been to Kyiv in less than a day.
They're running out of fuel, they'll have to DRAG tanks to Kyiv.
@mcfate this is crazy. Putin knows what it takes for a war, but was so unprepared, even with all the time he had to prepare.
From all reports, he literally didn't think there was going to be a war.
He thought the Ukrainian military would surrender immediately, the people would greet their "liberators" with flowers, and Zelenskiy would had for the hills, hopefully with a bagful of Ukraine's money.
Never get high on your own supply.
"Never get high on your own supply."
I think this crystalizes it. Putin has been destabilizing country after country using psy-ops on social media and the RW clown show and media shitshow that supported Ru propaganda with incredible success, installing proto-fascist strongman after strongman who sympathize who have been propping up his murderous tyranny and giving it the veneer of normalcy.
His glittering prize in that is delivering big dividends even still.
I don't' know if that number will hold but if it does then I get 71 days.
2 months plus change...
But much less than that really before the seams start flying off the economy in Ru in a way that will accelerate that and shit will get medieval...
No. Ukr will have the mother of all insurgencies with billions in arms flowing and foreigners joining that fight. They already are.
@TheAbbotTrithemius @DanKravetsky
Yup.
Now, add in the potential costs of "winning" and suddenly being obliged to both support the Ukrainian economy and keep a country the size of Texas containing 44 million pissed-of Ukrainians "pacified".
He can't possibly win at this.
