@ucantstop_me Yeah. Supposedly, ALT + 0176 should produce it, but does not.
@MisterE I saw 167, didn't work. Now I'm looking at one that says 248, also doesn't work. Then I tried º and it worked.
@Tail But what was it that produced the degree symbol that worked?
@MisterE Ctrl+C -> Ctrl+V
@Tail OK. Whatever works for you. But, there should be a keyboard shortcut that works besides cut and paste.
@MisterE I swear there is but no idea why none of these aren't working. It might actually be CoSo? Idk
@Tail Differences among hardware in use as well, I think.
@MisterE I was about to say, do you have a ten-keyless keyboard? I don't have a number pad rn and that's what I always used and never had problems.
@Tail There is a pad on my keyboard. I even tried it with NUM LOCK engaged. No go.
@99reasons4truth @MisterE Did you use a keypad or the numbers at the top?
@99reasons4truth @MisterE Pretty sure that's the difference. Try the top row and see if it works.
@99reasons4truth @MisterE Expected as much, pretty sure it's to do with those buttons also being mapped to other alt characters.
I'm using a tenkeyless keyboard so I can't do it. :(
@99reasons4truth NICE! Can I ask which one? I've got as clicky a keyboard as I can. I actually "downgraded" from one of the big brand top of the line keyboards down to a cheap no-name $50 keyboard and it's amazing. Cherry Blue switches ftw
@Tail
It's a Unicomp New Model M
@99reasons4truth ! WITH THE CLICKINESS OF THE OLD IBMS?!
@Tail
Yes!! And you can take the keys off to clean. Which I've done bc I've spilled green tea and water on it lol
I probably need a key cover.
@99reasons4truth omg I didn't even know they make those. I made a wrong choice.
I got a Huo-Ji Z-88, all of the keys are also hot-swappable, same with the switches. Aluminum frame so I could hit someone with it if I needed to. If I can buy just the buckling spring switches I would be so so happy.
@99reasons4truth @voltronic I would be, too! Excellent choice.
