The damn camera was on birding setting so it only focused on one bird 😂 these two was fighting and beating each other up in mid air up and down the trees and then they saw me *click 📸📸📸
@StephanieResists woodpeckers are entertaining. We have several species around the yard.
@StephanieResists I saw a couple of these in the tree outside my house. At least I think they were woodpeckers. They could have been sap suckers too. I didn't have my distance glasses on 🤣

@StephanieResists Birds are so funny. My go to bird book is The Birds of Texas by John L. Tveten. They write about seeing a male Cardinal fighting itself in the side view mirror of the van. They were sleeping in the van and woke up to the ruckus. One day I was pulling out of my driveway and saw, you guessed it, a male Cardinal fighting himself in the side view mirror if a Camry. I'm sure the owner was wondering why the driver's side of their car had bird poo under the window.
@ALittleMascara I've experienced the same thing. It was flailing itself against the chrome on my truck. It was incessant about it.
