This is an American pika. They're found at high altitudes, and as their biomes heat up, are being found at even higher altitudes as they seek to escape the heat.
While some have adapted to hotter areas around volcanos, they can die if exposed to heat higher than 78F for longer than 6 hours. You'll often catch them darting between rocks and crevices during the day.

@Smersh Yes, they are susceptible to global warming. Of interest are the pikas in the Columbia River gorge, who have conditions, at a much lower altitude, where they can survive (but they still need cool temps & grasses, etc to harvest/store for winter.) ✌️
