I prefer working at larger companies. They are more likely to have onboarding in place, to be truly inclusive... and, really what I like, there's a kind of anonymity that's not possible in small companies. It's also one of the things I like about being in a city versus a small town.

Honestly, I don't want to be *the* guy. I want to a reputation for being reliable, but I don't want to be the person everyone relies on.

@tyghebright I'm the opposite. Don't like large companies. Prefer smaller ones where they see your value and pay what you're worth. I'm stuck at a large company now. Million dollar company and the pay sucks.

I've been screwed over money-wise by employers both small and large. The former claims empty coffers and the latter claims its "just not in the budget". Unless you own it or are related to the owner and liked by them, you're not going to get a fair shake IMO.

@Smersh @tyghebright That's absolutely true. More now than years ago. I've noticed a difference in employers since my early days of working. Which is why I can't wait to get out from under them and retire. I've had it with corporate America.
