Loathe to even share this here because the pet people who have no vet experience at all will likely start screaming at me.
I got complacent with the rope toys and not putting them away, and apparently last night my younger dog found them and ate quite a bit of one.
Which is why she puked in my face this morning.
All of the rope toys are now trashed, and she's being cared for very carefully.
Y'all weren't here when she tried to bite a copperhead.

Living in a rural area is definitely different.
No emergency vet care.
Zero.
This dingbat is lucky I have vet tech training from the shelter I worked in.
She's a mess.

This dog ate half of a fleece lap blanket when we took her in.
She shit blanket for months.
She's got the intestines of a God, because she doesn't block fatally.
Fucking dipshit.

Leia is named Leia because other dog is Lucy and Leia came to us named Layla first and then Alliya.
Brought Lucy in because I knew immediately if she went to the shelter she'd be returned.
Leia was shifted so much we were her 5th house.
Of course she's a mess.

Leia was in 4 homes before she was a year old.
This dog is a mess.
Of course she's a mess! But eating thread is bad for you and sticking your face into snakes is bad for you and let's talk.
No don't eat that.

@Shelter

Ooofff! Glad she’s got you to care for her…well, except for having your face to puke on.

@see_the_sus

Look.
This morning that nearly set off my kill switch.
But. The dingdong needed care.

@Shelter *pets gently and gives ear scritches*

*whispers into the velvet ear*

stop eating fibery things they not good for puppers

@kismatt

Only frozen peas and grass if you really feel bad, my wee one

@Shelter
Happy to hear your dipshit is OK 😋
We had a bull mastiff/ pit mix and he loved to eat my wife's no-show socks. I'd find them in the yard 😬 One time I caught him in the act and practically reached down his throat to retrieve a sock. Lmao Miss that shit head.

@ShowDemKitties

I have reached down a dog's throat before.
It's not pleasant.
