I was talking with a friend about our first cars recently and found mine online. Banana yellow Buick Skylark . No, that's not me. π What was yours?
@corlin omg, I loved those! It had that concave rear window. Too cool π
Had that indestructible "Slant 6" engine.
Not fast....
But totally reliable, easy to work on..... except that damn oil filter stuck down near the front right wheel well.
@corlin A beast in all the good ways. They don't make'em like that anymore.
@SPFX

@SPFX My first car was a β69 Toyota Landcruiser and hubby had a β66 mustang convertible. Neither were new. We both lived in different worlds at that time. π

@SPFX
42 years later my main vehicle is still four wheel drive. And he has a convertible sports car that has to stay in the garage in the winter. See we never learned. Lol.
@realDDGlover Love it! π
@SPFX β68 mustang with oxidized paint wearing thin in places LOL $600, had to pay for 1/2 myself & the insurance, gas & maintenance.
It died protecting me when a very old man with Alzheimerβs ran a red light & t boned me.
@Groovyeli Best $600 bucks spent ever!
@SPFX wish I had had it longer. It was my freedom machine. After school if I didnβt have to work, Iβd drive country roads out to yellow springs & hike & draw in the Glenn there
@Groovyeli πΌ Country roads take me home to the place where I belong. π
