I actually like the USA.
Sure it has massive faults. On this interdependence day, let's celebrate some of its strengths. It is full of hard working decent people. The people that serve, that heal, that teach, that maintain and repair. It is too simplistic to divide folks into political camps. Then hate on the other. When the shit hits the fan, many will step up and help. This is a truth. It diminishes us as a nation to think otherwise. Today is the day to celebrate the goodness of the people.
@corlin Bernie Sanders is not running. He bowed out of this POTUS thing 4 years ago citing his age although he is super effective in his Senator job. He fights the good fight with pharmaceutical prices and such, because he is a good person who knows the needs of American people. I celebrate goodness of this guy in the background making a difference where he can. He doesn't let up.
