Does anyone else do this.

Wake up early to pee, then back to bed. Not to sleep but to just let the mind wander. This morning in my mind wandering, I designed a completely new way to make coffee. A spinning centrifuge coffee brewer. After tweaking the design a few times in my mind, I came to the conclusion that it was impractical. Cool, but hard to clean.

My head is weird.

@corlin Yeah actually there's been a few times that I woke up, went to pee, came back to bed to lay down, and then I had an idea and had to get up to draw it out. I have three blueprints at the moment for property changes on my mother-in-law's land that I've shown her that she really likes but are unaffordable at this time.

@corlin One of those ideas was a enclosed garden space with a trellis roof/ceiling. Because I know that my mother-in-law loves to garden and wants to have a garden that is accessible to her with her back issues. So in the blueprint that I had drawn out, I even designed tiered planters off the ground for her so that she'd have an easier way to actually get in, do her gardening and get out in an enclosed space that won't be invaded by the local deer, herds and other animals that like to forage.

@PaganMother

Very cool, and practical.

There is a word for the liminal space between sleep and wakefulness..
I just can't think of it at the moment.

@corlin Yeah I come up with some wild blueprints and ideas in strange period between sleep and wakefulness. I get an idea and I'm just like okay. I need to put this to paper or I'm going to forget later. Sometimes it's legible. Sometimes it's not haha
