#TFW you've been working in the same place so long that the guy who was once banned from coming to your unit due to inappropriate conduct with staff members is allowed back again because (checks notes) all the staff who complained are now gone and there is a workforce shortage.
Hi, yeah, I'm still fucking here and he's still fucking creepy. One RN, one APRN, and I are still hanging on and we're still not ok with him.
For me, he got way too zealous about my family. Telling me he was concerned for my soul because I was married to a "heathen." And I should really think carefully about bringing my daughter up in the Hindu faith.
For another co-worker he convinced her to meet him for a Bible study that turned into misogynistic, manic ranting about his wife.
For another, it was condemnation about her divorce from a man who beat her bloody with a newborn baby in her arms.
He can fuck all the way off.
@MotherDucker I cut my ties with Catholicism years ago for doctrinal reasons, then all the other stuff came to light.
@poemblaze when the church told me my marriage was illegitimate in 2016 I was fed up. When I found out in 2017 (Pittsburgh diocese abuse scandal broke) that a Catholic school friend of mine had been molested by one of the priests numerous times, that was it for me.
I am spiritual these days, leaning toward embracing Hindu beliefs (with a grain of salt.)
@MotherDucker My problems first arose with papal infallibility and paying the church to pray so your relatives wouldn't burn in purgatory as long. #religion
@MotherDucker A female friend of mine says when she was in college, she was in a dorm that alternated between male and female floors. Whenever a guy arrived on the floor he was to shout "man on floor." There was one custodian who would never do this. He'd just quietly say, "man on floor." So they were always having to be alert for him. They gave him a nickname I can't remember now, but you can imagine the gist of it.
The guy is a Catholic Eucharistic minister, no less.
He's one of the numerous reasons I've cut ties with Catholicism.
