When I toot on articles, I do seriously try to document the source of what I toot.
There are times when that is impossible either due to word count or due to the dreaded 403 error.
I will keep trying to help you determine which are my thoughts as opposed to others, hopefully, you fully understand that now.

Most of the time I put (my thoughts) in brackets. and "quotes"around the snippet of text from the article I am linking to. I also try to attribute writers or photographers.
But there is no convention for any of this. Style guides vary a lot.
so do whatever clarifies.
