๐Ÿง All right. Roll call:

How did you fight the power / patriarchy / Borg / feeling / good fight today?

(We can start small if it helps.)

ยท 11ยท 2ยท 12

@MLClark My kids have all left the faith of their youths, and good for them for acting for themselves. My wife and I are still in, and that upsets one daughter. However, we have worked out ways to discuss this. Yesterday our agreement was put to the test, and we eventually resolved things and it was all to the good. Tricky ground, but family is more important than being right, and we all believe that.

@pr10n

That is beautiful, Kurt. Thank you for sharing. Relationships are verbs as much as nouns, in that we're always working on them if we want them to thrive.

May your opportunities for mutual growth always be so fruitful, in communities where love and care come first. ๐Ÿค—

@MLClark
I located women's names for the library catalog metadata, so the would not solely be known as Mrs. Husband's name.

@MelissaHDavis

SHERO OF THE DAY RIGHT HERE!!!

๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

Posterity just called--it thanks you mightily for your work!

@MLClark
I picked up and delivered an item for someone unable to do it for themselves.
I cooked food for someone I love.
I called my Mum!

@stueytheround

Heck yes you did!

What a lovely range of presence with your community, Stuey. Well done. (Those pasties looked *so good*! ๐Ÿ˜‹)

@MLClark I wanted to stay in bed and not do my allocated shift today, I managed to put the bins out for collection, get to work in time and reassure a recent addition to the workplace that her perspective on some workplace characters is accurate and they are challenging to work with.

@Mauve_matelot

Eleanor! You affirmed another human still trying to find her place in a bigger system! I'm thankful you were present in the world today (and that you got a yummy reward in the process - or so a little birdie told us!).

@MLClark I'm grateful for finding an awesome cook in my soulmate and that we both know epic characters in this cyberspace community to recognise our place in this crazy society that we call life.

@MLClark Thank you for your missional mindset of affirmation and actions. You broaden my horizons of what could be possible

@Mauve_matelot

As you do mine, Eleanor. We need each other to complement and fortify us in our strengths, and to coax healing and growth from our weaknesses, too. ๐Ÿ’›

So thankful to share this world with you.

@MLClark

I close my eyes, think of future plans, and pray that this country has enough sane people in it that it survives its latest threat to its being.

I try to keep my faith in humanity alive.

I would like to think that we as a nation are bigger than one man's petty ego.

That said, I love you CoSo family! โค๏ธ

Peace! โ˜ฎ๏ธ

This is good work, @grayman. ๐Ÿ’›

It is enough that we are still here, in the fray, trying to keep hope alive for ourselves and others.

Thank you for staying with the trouble.

@grayman @MLClark What will be will be. The only thing anyone can do at this point is maintain their composure as best they can and get out to vote on Nov. 5th. There's no point in worrying about what may come. Focus on the job at hand and stay out of the MSM crossfire.๐Ÿ’™ โ˜ฎ๏ธ

@WordsmithFL

And singlehandedly saved us from all the timelines where your failure to take a nap leads to even worse societal disasters?!

๐Ÿ˜ฏ Well done, Stephen!

The primary timeline thanks you for your service!

@MLClark How do we know that this is the "primary" timeline?

All timelines are equal in my LCARS.

@MLClark
I tried to raise a strong independent daughter and help with granddtrs. I also have very much encouraged my sons to treat women as equals and utmost respect. We do what we can in our corner of the world.

@CinnamonGirlE

You're darned skippy we do - and it sounds like you have and continue to do a *fierce* and wonderful job. Raising kids to weather this world's storms is one of the hardest and most important things we can do.

I'm so thankful to know that strong mamas and grandmamas like you are out doing that good work! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ช

@MLClark
Thanks ML. Same back at you and your tireless work. I see you. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Love you CoSo and all that put up this fight.

Registered as a volunteer with my county Democratic organization, @MLClark ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@cmskiera

You are a powerfully good Ent, C.M.! That is wonderfully proactive work at a time when many folks are afflicted by despair. ๐Ÿ’ช

Thank you for your service to democracy!

@mikeharmanos

Thank you for encouraging this woman by showing her the real worth of her services!

You gave more than money today, Mike. You affirmed a fellow human being in their talents and work. What greater gift could there be?

@MLClark i had a meeting that created a more important meeting this week that i will share, after it happens.

Also, each day, i add a little bit more to this .. there is a method to my madness..

airtable.com/appostPUCMP0y4NyN

@Museek

Museek! Your "madness" is a body of organizational prowess, and determination in the face of incredible bureaucratic and cultural odds, that does *so* much to keep hope, tradition, and family alive.

If the rest of us were even a tenth as "mad", what a world we would have.

Thank you so much for your tenacity, and for your commitment to a wide range of communities so fortunate to have you. ๐Ÿค—

@MLClark aww thanks..

Lol we have toolsโ€ฆ imperfect as they areโ€ฆ to sort things and get it straight in our minds so we can work together for the change we want.. itโ€™s a lot of info, sure but itโ€™s just a framework to work from. The real work is in showing others, with facts, why something is helpful or harmful to them and convincing them to vote in their own best interests.
