I tried to raise a strong independent daughter and help with granddtrs. I also have very much encouraged my sons to treat women as equals and utmost respect. We do what we can in our corner of the world.

You're darned skippy we do - and it sounds like you have and continue to do a *fierce* and wonderful job. Raising kids to weather this world's storms is one of the hardest and most important things we can do.
