Tossed and turned for hours, and woke up all achey and sore, but *still* with the energy for a run, which is a great sign. My body's remembering how to push again, as it regains muscle after a rotten few months of muddle and stress.

You are too, lovely bun! π Glad you're listening to yourself. Refining endurance speed is a different part of the optimization process, and requires strategic rest and alternating workouts. I still need to rebuild lung capacity and stamina, full stop - so I just need to keep going out for a bit every day for now.

My HRV reading this morning told me to take it easier today, so I'm taking it's advice.
I'm still gaining speed and improving in performance so I'm on the right track, I think.
It's so much easier to ignore and go for it, then be patient and listen sometimes.
