I love English translation quirks on clothes here. :) I bet we have tons of Spanish errors on clothes up north, too, but it's just hilarious to think of English-ese as enough of a draw that errors don't matter.
I "cout"-n't if I wanted to! π
@MLClark
I fear that, in my ignorance, I've been couting all along. π€
You'll enjoy this site, then.

@MLClark I wonder if those are errors that were sent to Third World countries for discount disposal.
Nah, made here. I've come across tons in my years here. Some are absolute letter-soup, just affecting the "look" of English, while others come from basic typos (like on the right) & translation issues (like on the left; in Spanish, that structure makes perfect sense).
But DollarCity does exist here, and *it* offloads from elsewhere. Zero interest in changing core inventory, so there's a lawn section for a culture that doesn't really have them. Big business is hilariously lazy. π
The DollarCity also takes all the Valentine's Day English-language swag that didn't sell in February, and uses it for El dΓa de amor y amistad in September. "Happy Valentine's" (in English) was on a lot of offloaded North American merchandise here this month.
@MLClark Please let me know if you ever see any World Series merchandise that lists the wrong team as the world champion. π
