Only thing more "fun" than recovering from a surgery is getting constant messages from the hospital while recovering reminding me how much money I still owe them. 
@DavidSalo My wife and I COMBINED income is 25.8K a year. I'm not exactly concerned with the hospitals profit margin.👍🏻

Grim. The medical establishment gives little or no thought as to how financial stressors affect not just accessibility to health care but also ability to consistently follow a health plan and achieve recovery. It's harder for people to get better when they're experiencing financial anxiety.
