OK. What's your guilty TV pleasure? Mine? The series "Forbidden History", which is a slightly higher-class version of "Ancient Aliens".

@LiberalLibrarian
I have not missed a single episode of University Challenge in at least ten years!

@LiberalLibrarian Oh I love that too.
When the times align just right, Monday night goes: Mastermind, Only Connect, University Challenge. One after the other.

@stueytheround And "University Challenge" is a GREAT quiz show. Even though Paxman can be a bit of a douchenozzle.

@LiberalLibrarian He could. The most recent series has a new question master, Amol Rajan. He's pretty good although sometimes he's a bit *too* chilled out 🀣

@LiberalLibrarian

No guilt whatsoever.

One day I’m going on Survivor.

@LiberalLibrarian

I have discovered amazing stuff about myself. Too late now to go into it. But I will.

@LiberalLibrarian

i watch such occasionally. some of those "crazy" ideas got people looking and, holy moly, Gobekli Tepe appears.

of course, there's more fails, but it's still more entertaining than a lot of tv.

now you've reminded me, i'll have to revisit.

@holon42 @LiberalLibrarian Gobekli Tepi has been bought by a billionaire. There has not been new excavation for years, and they're paved over parts of it that have more of what's been excavated...more elaborate.

@Lindy

hmmmm, πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©

are they trying to hide it?

@holon42 I don't have a clue. I have a lot of curiosity but no power to satisfy it.
