@Kurtroedeger That reminds me of one of the many silly moments involving my dad (who'd had an edible before dinner) at Thanksgiving last week.
While putting away the leftovers someone asked, "what should I put the green beans in?"
And from the other room, my dad yelled, "the garbage disposal!" Followed by a fit of giggles.
He's not wrong. I ate so many as a kid I just do not want to be near them. Most of our garden was string beans which we'd freeze and eat year round. I'm so over them.
