@Kurtroedeger
Do Nations have their own Liqueur? This is news to me. I'm a little fuzzy about what constitutes a Liqueur vs. just plain Likker. š¤£ Is Bourbon a Liqueur? I see I must google, or else harass CoSo.
@Kurtroedeger GASP I googled and it said Bourbon is the national Spirit of the USA! That was just a total wag from me.
But is a spirit a liqueur? š¤
I don't drink that much, and when I do, it's just wine or beer.
Ahhhh check it out, wikipedia to the rescue: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_liquors
I think I'll just stick to bread. š„
@janallmac @Kurtroedeger In high school our science teacher was also a bartender at night/weekends, and could easily be led off topic in class. He taught us the difference between liqueur and liquor. He also taught us about specific gravity using layered drinks (using different liqueurs) as an example.
I generally think of liqueurs as sweetened liquor with maybe other flavorings added. But I could be off š¤·āāļø
@Kurtroedeger @janallmac Generally that's true, good way to think of them.
@CJLavoie @Kurtroedeger
That sounds like a really fun science teacher. š„
@Kurtroedeger - that last one.... Not sure how to celebrate it
