Yeah, I like the "Irish people try" but sometimes I wonder about the quality of what they're given. Like, they did one with Southern Food that was just weird.

I think the cherry pie must have been subpar too.

The quality definitely makes a difference. How do they source southern American food in Ireland?

The episode I saw made the think they got it from some local restaurant doing a fancy and not-too-authentic version of southern food.

the pie video i shared, I really think they got a meh sweet potato pie. Only one liked it, but they mostly loved the pumpkin pie. There's a cajun stand at one of the local farmers market that has an amazing sweet potato pie. It puts to shame almost any pumpkin pie I've ever had and I like pumpkin pie. But you have to get it soon after they make it because they keep it in the same cooler as gumbo and stuff so it picks up off flavors.

Now I want pie!

@tyghebright I am happy that they seem to have gotten a good pecan pie. Even if they can't say pecan right πŸ˜‚
