Adding to my plant map, Ficaria verna, or called Lesser celandine or pilewort. this is all over the yard and woods. We are in low area and have a wet yard, which these love. One of several invasive species in my yard, but the first one to leaf out and bloom.
I planted 4 of these Salix integra 'Hakuro-nishiki', or tri color willow. It's a bush with quick growth but fairly easily managed. I have them at the brick pillars that are along the driveway. Good for defining a hedge as well, but deciduous so not a year round visual hedge.
