@corlin @ecksmc @th3j35t3r Talon Percision Optics make a system called TrackingPoint that will literally lock a spot on a target so all you need to do is line the weapon up where it tells you, and will even NOT fire if you are aimed wrong.
So now, you dont even need math. You just need batteries.

I wouldnt know as I don't have that kind of cash to go try it myself! But if it cant canr hit point targets at 300 meters.. seriously.. a marine with iron sights can do that, consistently.
@corlin @ecksmc that is true enough. If you are going to war with something, less complexity the better. More reliable to put some glass on top a weapon and teach them how to aim right, than engineer a computer and fire control system.
But eventually the tech will be so good it will be integrated. Just not there yet.

Unless they have gotten much better in the last few years. I call bullshit. I would like to know conditions, calibers, and weapons used.
If they were half that good the military would be using it.
Here’s the thing. In target shooting that would be cheating. And in real life warfare it just is not rugged enough.
