If this account of what happened is only somewhat correct, it shows a great deal of planning and coordination in the Ukrainian forces. This was a complex operation, that I doubt the Russians could have pulled off.

@corlin S-200 is an older Surface to Air missile that does have some secondary land attack capability, but isn't very accurate.

It's almost as if somebody used a copy of Command Modern Operations to plan the scenario...I mean this attack.

@Render @corlin I wish I had a good understanding of where the area the previous starlink outage covered. Maybe it's coincidence or maybe it's me reading too much into it, but it seems to me the Ukrainians made good use of the recent starlink discourse both politically and militarily.

If the plan is to show that starlink goes down every time you plan an attack on the Russian fleet, and to make your enemy lose faith in their ace in the hole, this seems like a good way to do it.
