Donate money to pantries rather than food, when you clean out your own pantry and want to donate it, a soup kitchen might take it to add to a pot.
@tippitiwichet if one clears their pantry, don’t just donate the food one won’t eat. Chances are it’s stuff no one wants. People being poor doesn’t mean they should be grateful for one’s garbage.
