Aw. Poor thing.
It takes more than a few days for any pet to settle in and start to show their personality... but also, don't expect a 10 year old dog to act like a playful puppy.
I hope she finds a new home soon.

We rescued an anxious neglected older dog with supposedly 6-12 weeks to live. He was a bathtub retriever for a couple months, but went on to have two more years to come out of his shell and learn to receive love.
