G'Morn; my NC is☔this morning. My dogs really hate to go out in the rain when we let them into the back yard. I have to put clothes on & walk around or stand in the rain with 'em😁
Hubs won't; he'll just fuss at 'em to go out, then put pads down, "just in case."
Nope; I take them up, unless it's raining & we're going to bed & w/our aches/pains may miss their pleas; I feel it's backwards training otherwise🤷🏽♀️
🤔We only really fuss about our furbabies😂
Whatever you do today, just...BE!
@Gramdma2011 So I am not the only one out holding the umbrella for the furbaby?????
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine 🤣No. The things we do for our 'kids'! Some rainy days, I really wish I had cats instead😬 Wouldn't trade these 3 for anything though...sigh...just gotta stand in the rain...btw, 2 won't go out if I have an umbrella; they're the ones w/previous owner. I feel they might have been either abused or neglected. They crave attention & shy from certain things; just their overall behavior tells me something amiss. The owner didn't; dogs were w/others🤬in🏠as he worked OT w/me
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine 🌹Hugs; Such a loving parent!💯
Hubs has PTSD as well, from childhood traumas; pups are the most calming thing we have. He'll rage about one thing or another in an agitated state. He refuses any meds😬 When his Schizoaffective & other issues present, our dogs just naturally go to him, demanding attention; it helps him refocuse his thoughts & calm himself(and me!🥴) He'll then go nap awhile, w/dogs on him, or very near as he😴😁
