I don’t know a lot about Doctor Who (have a close family member who is a huge fan and she’s shown me a few episodes to get an idea). However the ones I’ve seen have been woke. Saw one that dealt with ecological concerns. It was an older episode about a green plant that ate people to survive. @Graci became upset when I saw that episode where one of the doctors had a Dalek chained up in a room and he was being tortured. The doctor was telling him his race was wiped out. Gone. My relative found this curious said to me “they exterminate people, they aren’t good”. I think it bothered me because I know what it’s like to be alone and without friends.
It should be mentioned that she has a poster of the Dalek’s in her house so I think she kind of likes the bad guys. David Tennant is her Dr.
