@Graci These phobes tend to have a meltdown over what they thought they knew and what actually is. I mean take Star Trek for example…

@Graci became upset when I saw that episode where one of the doctors had a Dalek chained up in a room and he was being tortured. The doctor was telling him his race was wiped out. Gone. My relative found this curious said to me “they exterminate people, they aren’t good”. I think it bothered me because I know what it’s like to be alone and without friends.
It should be mentioned that she has a poster of the Dalek’s in her house so I think she kind of likes the bad guys. David Tennant is her Dr.

Now imagine you've learned that you are the last one, that the entire universe has rejected you and everyone like you. Everyone hates you and you are now utterly alone, with your supposed superiority proved all a lie, all your virtues shown to be nothing but sin and ashes.
I bet that'd feel bad.
