Today's random question: What's the longest drive you've ever made?

@GaryPoole
In one day? Probably Pensacola, FL to Ft. Worth.

In one road trip? Ft. Worth to Portland, ME and back.

@GaryPoole

Connecticut to South Dakota, in 36 looooooong hours.

with my fiance, who ended up being my spouse later, so i guess we passed that test.

@GaryPoole Got invited to the launch party for Diablo III Reaper of Souls so I drove from Sacramento to LA and back that night.

@GaryPoole Days after 9/11. Could not fly back to MA from our truncated vacation in Montana. Rented a one-way van for an ungodly amount and drove straight home, except to stop for lunch with my parents in Chicago.

OH DEAR. THIS POST WAS SET TO SELF-DETONATE 💣 💥 🔥

@GaryPoole Depends on how you qualify it. With me as one of the drivers: near Trenton, NJ to Manchester, TN and back a couple of times. With me as the sole driver: Buffalo to Long Island and back, many times. With me as a passenger: Long Island to Galesburg, IL and back on several occasions.

@GaryPoole A few hundred miles because my country is teeny tiny.

"In England 200 miles is a long way. In America, 200 years is a long time." - unknown (to me)
