I always go for "garbage" — i.e. "House Special" — lo mein. It's the one with ALL the toppings, beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp.
Jason Farmer helped me to finally nail takeout lo mein.

All the things! One of my favorites is Mu Shu Vegetables. I love those little pancake/burrito things. I also love Mongolian Beef. I make my own Lo Mein at home, sometimes! Oh, and crab Rangoon, with or without the actual crab. And Happy Family.
Now I'm hungry.

I love lo mein. There's a shop near my house that does hand-pulled noodles and I love those to bits, but they are really a specialty item. Black pepper chicken with broccoli is usually pretty good.
I’ve been a lo mein fan for decades.
