All hands on deck this morning in the TV news business: we're dealing with severe storms with flooding, power outages, wires and trees down, and idiots that still think they can drive like normal causing mayhem on the roadways.
This is one of those mornings when I *really* appreciate working from my home studio.

Good Morning ๐
@GaryPoole
The KVLT weather guy preempted The Amazing Race last night for nearly an hour doing the same thing.
@GaryPoole
Yikes. ๐ฌ I was not aware it was going to be that kind of day. I'd better check the weather here. Stay safe and stay off those roads!
@GaryPoole
Good morning Gary! I guess mornings like this you know everybody's listening.
@Say_what_now Our weather guy has basically been going non-stop on-air since 5am, with a few commercial breaks and tosses to me for traffic. The actual anchors are basically just saying the time and "welcome back" and then throwing it back to us. I think they're a bit bored.
@GaryPoole I see that everywhere. They are in a hurry to get home. We might say dying to get there.
To give you an idea, my normal TV traffic reports are about 30 seconds, with sponsor. This morning, they're twice that long, if not longer. I'm basically telling people if they don't need to be anywhere *right now* to stay off the roads.
