Grew my hair very long for years to donate. Then learned the charities refuse gray hair. Cut 6โ off and now am going every couple of months to clean up layers.

@GaryPoole I usually farm my hair for childrenโs cancer wigs, so however long it takes me to grow a 10โ ponytail while leaving a reasonable amount behind
When it needs to be combed, I get it cut.

Whenever it starts bugging me too much. Usually when the sides get long enough to blow into my eyes. Can't stand hair covering my eyes!
