Remodel/renovation this week on my Casita - bought it 5-6 years ago with intent to do this, but had a succession of friends needing housing, so have rented it out since. It's needed a lot of work, particularly downstairs. But it's got good bones. Today I will spend on a skid steer reconfiguring the backyard and moving 6-8 inches that have accumulated against the house because of the slope out back. And building ~100 ft of fence.

@FireMonkey

Okay, that's the morning...What will you do in the afternoon?

@Madken65

I might have a cold adult beverage.

Then there's a couple of showers to build/tile some plumbing to run, new electrical panel and a few new outlets.

The kids moving in and their handy family are all in. Alley neighbor friends for 20+ years. We have a lot of skill-sets on the job. I'm providing materials and the plan, they're providing labor.

I had the abuelos at my place in Puerto Rico for a 2 week vacay. That's when he got the idea to put his granddaughter in my rental.

@FireMonkey

I second that adult beverage, along with some Indica strain

@Madken65
Left today at 420.
Drop trailer, park come in sit down, space out...now it's 520 and I'll just be an hour late.
I had a bit of "cookie" to start the day this morning at 720 when I headed out to pick up materials. Just enough.
