"Retirement" came with the 2008-10 recession. Pretty scary, at 55 you didn't get re-hired anywhere, and since then it's just been scrambling. Turns out I bought my first then 2nd homes in areas with increasing values, and have used equity and short term rent to leverage investments and other projects. I might take SS in a couple years, but been getting by so...let it ride.
@FireMonkey it must be nice to retire. I’m not sure I ever will lol then again, I have no shortage of interesting things to occupy myself with 😃
Nice you had a good breakfast. Good luck in the roof and getting In to the auto shop! I’m finishing up my digital work, as well now. I’ve been so busy trying to keep up!
