Turned out to be cook breakfast, deal with emails, read a couple of chapters. Forget to go to the auto shop now they're closed until 1:00. Some more emails and plan this afternoon's attack on the roof project. The day sure is full when you retire.

"Retirement" came with the 2008-10 recession. Pretty scary, at 55 you didn't get re-hired anywhere, and since then it's just been scrambling. Turns out I bought my first then 2nd homes in areas with increasing values, and have used equity and short term rent to leverage investments and other projects. I might take SS in a couple years, but been getting by so...let it ride.
