Welp, good morning. Sorta. But this morning no water to make coffee - city is out digging up the main. my guests let me know about the time I turned on the faucet to see two drips come out.

Then no keys to get my water bottle out of the truck to make coffee, and to eventually get into the tool shed to get the tools out for work today.

So I wandered out in my bathrobe, got the hidden key from under the front wheel well, got the water, made coffee.

Today was going to be an early start to catch about three projects in a row. I've got to go down to the office and track down some data analysis on a CD we did a couple years ago, then go install a part on a stove, then go up to a client's and cut out a rusted drain and install a new one.

If I get back in the afternoon and it's nice it's up on the scaffolding and fix a couple square foot or so of shingles on the gable where I put 2 new windows. At least that was the plan as I lay in bed and contemplated coffee.

... we'll see how it goes without a hot shower.

@FireMonkey Yikes; no water for☕! I'd travel in my robe too in search of water...that is, IF I remember the robe part.

I always keep a jug of water in fridge for such emergencies; we change it out ever so often.

When I got back up in the kitchen I looked over and two feet from the electric kettle were six liter jugs of water sitting there dechlorinating for the plants...

See what happens when you don't have coffee.
