@UmbaSaffire @QueenOfEverything @gemswinc I think it was a shrewd move. Trump rambled through his political bs and Zelenskyy did good to not cosign it nor insult his host. If he was going to meet with one candidate he needed to meet with both to dispel any accusation of influencing the election against him whichever candidate he might have met with exclusively

I understand, politically, why Zelenskyy met with trump. The points you made are on the mark. It's so disgusting to watch trump self-aggrandize and LIE - he's already said he doesn't care about Ukraine and then brings up his good friend Putin.
I can't think of a greater security threat than trump meeting with world leaders- like Orban, Putin & the rest of the enemies of America.
