There is only one group who has never suffered discrimination and persecution in this country; wealthy, white, religious men.
Every other group, be they poor, people of color, or non-Christian, at some point have been victims of systemic racism.
Jews, Blacks, Japanese, Germans, Irish, Mexicans, Native Americans.
And it's been that way since day one.
The founders of America were not egalitarian liberals by any means.
We can't fix our deficiencies until we acknowledge them.
