What I liked about Twitter is that it did a decent job of getting news from around the world.
I followed scientists from all over, caught up on world news, kept an eye on publishing, and chatted with friends from everywhere... and now I can't.

@Evereigh I miss having the local news, reports of auroras, and the weather. It's just a huge loss all around and I'm mad about it.
