A great first step in helping America eat more healthy would be greater food stamp credits for purchases such as beets, asparagus, broccoli, you all get what I mean. In NY I saw a woman buy twizzlers and Mountain Dew for her kids lunch on the card, that’s very no bueno in my view.

@MidnightRider On one hand I’m curious to watch how this plays out. Corporations have successfully removed the knowledge/ability regarding how to cook nutritious food out of our society for profits. Healthy eating is at odds with capitalism.

I don’t know what they teach in school. Even people trying to be healthy have no idea what they don’t know. I’ll hear someone describe their diet and I’ll ask where they get their protein, and they’ll say, “I eat greens.”
