@Usama_Backhair I've not had a good one yet...but I try every now and then
@EdgeOErin
Yeah those brand were carried in a restaurant I cooked for, so naturally I tried it to see, which I thought id hate....turns out they're really good
@EdgeOErin are we including the newfangled "impossible" and "beyond" varieties? Because my answer will change depending on that.
@rpardee Any you wish, Roy :)
@EdgeOErin I just had a vegetarian sausage, and it was the worst thing ever. Poor texture. Poor taste.
I know they could do better. When I was a kid, went to Adventist schools. They had "Wham" which was fake slices of ham. Texture was off, but the taste was spot on.
@BlueStateBabe I think George Michael also liked it.
@EdgeOErin when I think of veggie burgers I am expecting herbs, pulses and legumes maybe some tomato puree along side a medley of vegetables.
My workplace veggie burgers are made with rice, herbs, vegetables and mashed potatoes.
Our local Aldi have chickpeas with beetroot burgers, a 2nd type with sweet potato and the freezer often has spicy bean burgers.
Sometimes @stueytheround will make fresh veggie burgers.
@Mauve_matelot @stueytheround Those sound decent
@EdgeOErin
For the Cat (EXCEPT for an occasional Garden Burger, when I'm in the mood, that is...those things are pretty good)
