@EdgeOErin Never too late
@EdgeOErin "I'm 55. Is it too late for love? "
My grandmother was married to my philandering grandfather for 30 years. When he died, she spent 15 years traveling the world.
Then her recently-widowed old high school sweetheart started showing up at her door. They married at 75 and had 10 wonderful years together.
It ain't over until it's ALL over.
@jcsimonds That is a very nice story, and I am happy for her, and you, because, in many respects, love is learned
@EdgeOErin I know some wild 80-somethings. Seriously.
@kerrywth Cool. Maybe things will get better for me in 25 years ;)
@EdgeOErin I believe as long as people are breathing, we have the "urge to merge."
@EdgeOErin
I didn't give up hope until I turned 65.
It's a question that's irrelevant until you meet someone you're interested in.
You've still got time.
@Jeber I've been on the ramp to who gives a shit for 7 or 8 years...but, it still plays on your mind
@EdgeOErin I turned 60, this year. My last date was in 2006, I think? I gave up on dating, 'cause I'm the Queen of Bad Dating Decisions. So I can't speak for everyone, so my answer is "who knows?"
@NTropy_Sellers I am reasonably confident that the right answer is indeed, 'who knows?" :)
Part of me likes the people who choose, "You're fucked, Oldie!" LOL
