Does anyone else think that private citizen Trump's influence over the US House blocking aid to Ukraine which could lead to Putin having his way with NATO allies (Trump's wish) is Trump's way of burning the whole damn thing down because he is about to go down for his legal problems?
He will sink the whole ship if he has to go down. I recognize this. I grew up with such a person.
@n8evans my gut says it's a combo of wanting to please pooty, and a legit belief that he needs to be able to run on "border chaos" & thinks he can get away with his transparent manipulation.
But I totally believe he's willing to burn it all down. He's uncomfortable, but I suspect still hopeful that he might be elected & somehow make all the bad things go away. Which may not be unrealistic TBH.
@publickovacs @rpardee @n8evans I'm certain he will be elected. Far too many democrats and independents sit on the side lines believing "other people" will vote; so they don't need to.
@rpardee @publickovacs @n8evans I hope you're right. But I'm scared to death he'll win. I think he cheated in 2016 to win and won't hesitate to cheat again. And if he loses? I'm afraid these nut jobs will start a civil war.

@DCliffo @publickovacs @n8evans boy, I don't know. He is not very popular outside of that gop base. I think dems know what sort of threat he poses. It's at least as blatant/scary as 2020...
