Well, this is what happens when I join my wife on (though I get to"cheat"), even though I have no weight to lose....I continue to lose weight.

I haven't been this weight since '98 and the days of Fen-Phen.

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN Just remember, being 5 pounds underweight carries greater heart risks than being 20 pounds over.

@AskTheDevil Not sure when that will be though. According to BMI, I"m obese.

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN @AskTheDevil I've never like the BMI metric, far too generic. Technically rmmosy rugby players and probably America football players will be "obese" according to BMI

@rych @SECRET_ASIAN_MAN My normal, healthy weight for most of my adult life, for decades, was 210-220 pounds. I'm of average height, but had lots of muscle mass and a large frame.

I am now 156 pounds.

All my bones are visible, I can't regulate body temp, and shake and ache from muscle loss.

But my BMI says I am healthy!

@AskTheDevil @rych @SECRET_ASIAN_MAN

When I worked for local government, they added a health incentive program with all sorts of support things.

One part of that was a BMI test.

I cannot tell you how many firemen (yah, the hunky fit kind) "failed" BMI because it doesn't account for quite a few body types.

Silly measurement.

@Cosmichomicide @rych @SECRET_ASIAN_MAN My skeleton is about twice the size of a friend of mine's who is the same height, because I was a muscular mesomorph that was physically active, and they are a slight, ectomorphic person who did desk jobs. They actually weigh more than me now, and I'm still _bigger_.
