I don't think the brainwashed learn, until they, or someone close, suffer the consequences. At least that's what I learned in 2020 with Covid.

They're also a threat to the rest of us - in addition to being the modern equivalent of willing plaguebearers (spreading disease, especially if they come in contact with immunocompromised people), they also help incubate new, more infectious, and deadlier strains of various pathogens, contribute to antibiotic resistance, and assist pathogens evolve different antigens to evade the protection offered by vaccines.
