Woke up on Monday morning to find a message from the designer of one of my new favorite board games. A game that I built a website to help people play.
The designer just sent me high quality card images for the current game and it's next expansions that haven't launched yet. And permission to post it
Got some improvements I need to make them useful before I can really integrate the new cards permanently, but I am so stoked to be in this position.
Yay side projects.
Those weird lovely moments when you realize people are noticing.
I once wrote a book review on a long gone mystery fan site. It was a great book but for the 45368728 endings after the ending. It just went on.
My review ended with "5 daggers without the last 20 pages, 3 daggers with"
I got an email that said, "My editor agreed with you. I should have listened to my editor."
It was so cool!!!
