They are going to go within days of each other in some Hallmark movie moment and it's gonna be so exactly like we envisioned. 😭

@Cosmichomicide It is exactly what they wanted to do, too, I am sure of it. We will miss them so much, though.
They have, perhaps, lived the most meaningful lives in total of any former Firsts.
Not only will the houses they built stand testament, but they effectively eradicated a disease and supported democracies worldwide through the Carter Center.
Obviously, I'm heartbroken - I've always been a fan of the Carters and people forget just how Rosalynn literally changed the FLOTUS into a position with a staff. What a truly remarkable legacy she leaves, both as part of an amazing team and as a ground breaker for women.
RIP, Rosalynn Carter and peace to all the family and friends. Especially Jimmy. 😭
